Payen make good quality gaskets, my engine machine shop only supplies them!
I agree, very good quality, iv just used one on my 1300 engine
i prefer elring or victor rienz over payen, used a few times but i think the quality is abit higher on the other two

headgasket isnt a head gasket, some of the ****e on ebay is shocking, cheap is never better.
that payen one actually looks like a geotze gasket which are good for about 300bhp.

Either are perfectly fine IMO. So long as its not exceptionally cheap ebay sourced 'rice paper' gaskets or something that has been on a factors shelf since 1987 then it should be OK.

Agreed, ive seen a ebay special head gasket set, shockingly bad. My comment about cheaper was between the two posted above.
