Sported system> magnex

Hi all , i have a mk1 1.4 SR,I'm going to purchase a 4 branch from sportex and a system !! Will the sportex system mate up well with a magnex mk1 backbox ?! Thanks fellas :)

just ask if the sportex system comes out in the original place for a mk1 1.4 sr only a two second question on the phone. but honestly modified parts always follow standard setups. and if yes then yes should fit why not! if not then modification will be required but id mod the manifold not the stainless magnex system as its stainless and is more of a specialist job to weld!

Dude I've asked all manufactures if the pipe comes out str8 but they all don't ... Apart from magnex lol !!! it would be a sportex manifold and centre pipe with a magnex rear can .......I suppose it could just be a sleeve job !!

Magnex and Sportex exhausts fit different. Magnex's have an extra pipe between backbox and middle silencer, sportex are in one piece.

Yeah but the back boxes are the same size surely !??
disregard the system at the mo then....if a magnex back box fits the standard system and a sportex one fits the standard system too ... That surely means that if I had a sportex middle section that it would finish in the same place ..enabling me to fit a different rear can ??

It depends if the sportex backbox thats made to fit the standard system, is the same as a sportex backbox that fits a sportex system. If you get me

yeah i understand mate , either way tho ...with some kind of sleeve ( i have two from a peco i had on my corsa and a sportex i had on my corsa) i could adapt it to fit , when i had a sportex system last , it came with a sleeve , one side fitted the sportex middle section and the other side fitted the original backbox!! i didnt use the sleeve as i used the new sportex box !!
