Sat in the comfort of my home and did it all online the other night. The misses is on maternity leave, so she got the rest as i cant stand town at the best of times. Let alone at christmas!! lol

seriously, i've been tripping over hints for months.... the missus is dropping them everywhere..... so i've got to get her a pair of trainers.... even though she has several pairs already & doesn't actually do physical exercise.....:confused:

I'm all done, I've shopped for my kids, my family, Sturge, his family, the dog and the cat.....god knows when i can get wrapped as it's all in the loft.
I actually sat last night and totalled what has been spent and the amount is horrific!!...:eek:

Sturge on the other hand only has to shop for me!!!....and hasn't found time yet!!!:roll: lol

please, remember this people..... this is a festival to worship a child born in a shed behind a pub, and spent all his life trying to convince people that there was so much more to life than material possessions..........

not that i'm tight or anything, but my missus is a regular churchgoer as are the 3 girls, yet they go absolutely crazy to amass shiny things and i'm meant to be grateful if i get some new socks, another top gear thing.... and a jumper, when i already own at least a dozen 'going out' jumpers that i wouldn't dare go out in.........

i have tried to explain that book tokens, a magazine subscription, or even some bits for my nova would be a much better idea, but no..... i will also get enough wine gums to make a rhino sick, because once, i expressed an opinion that they were nice....

I finished all mine last week. but 2 of them have got estimated delivery dates of between 8th december and 8th Jan so im crossing my fingers they will actually arrive in time. lol
Also, one of the prezzies I bought, im now having major doubts that the recipient is going to like it. dam dam dam. too late now really.

As for shopping, my mums buying my sisters presents for me - i dont know what to get them.

My sisters got my dads present so i just owe them money.

My mums present should be here tuesday/wednesday ordered online

rest of my money is for the nova or astra.. maybe some beer.

No chance of going anywhere near the shops this close to christmas, i wouldnt even go in the middle of the year!

Yep mine is all done I spent 3 days of my week off last week Christmas shopping. Went to the Trafford centre and come home with a DVD!! Then went to the sh1t hole that is Hanley town centre anyone who has ever been there will know exactly what I'm on about. I took my mrs shopping with me she's ace at it as anyone who spends so much time shopping should be.

All mine is pretty much done, I've been quite organized this year. Most of it was mail order, but a few items were from wandering shops. I'm about £50 under budget at the moment which is good, as usually I blow way too much money (still spent rather a lot this year), but unfortunately I've probably spent that £50 elsewhere instead lol

Might get a few more little odds and sods maybe. I loves giving gifts :d
