Been +5 to -7 deg C today, snow melting fast, just wonder if it will get away before the next freeze:confused:

Discuss

I've been busy cutting channels through the snow to aid drainage, to allow the melt water to get away, rather that stagnate:d

Need to get a life, reallylol

All of the snow here has gone, even most of the ice, Still some inside one of my cars though.

I wouldn't count on it all being gone Royston! It will take weeks IMO. It's almost all of the house roof now. Every time I heard it slide I thought "there goes another gutter!" lol

It is nice to have the warmer temperatures back though I agree! my personal hibernation is over for the moment. lol

Still a foot thick round here although it is melting really fast, can almost see my dads 2cv and my nova now, both the cav and my dads jazz are snow free now which is good, still think we wont have a full thaw till after christmas though!

The snow will be back next week in West Yorkshire :( all gone now though in my area :)

I was out in the van today up in the dales and it was melting so quickly it had taken a stone wall out and i was greated with a torrent of snow water and stones heading towards me lol

The snow round here went about a week ago now admittdly we only had about a cm in the first place lol
