The same dirty ****ing coppers that found your motor after it was nicked?

You have confused me twice. You say overpaid, do you mean unpaid?

Either way. Merry Xmas! lol

if you were overpaid it you have to pay it back, simple. iirc the oweness is on you to make sure your payments are right when you get them

shame about your rents but just think, double presents on christmas and birthdays, 2 holidays etc etc lol

they overpaid me. they were told i had moved out so i no longer needed it but they didnt cancel it for a few months and never updated their database when i moved home. so all my letters went to a place where i didnt live.

also the same coppers than impounded it even though i was asked if i wanted them to recover it and i specifically said no lol

and i cant rant on fb because my sister doesnt know yet...

Didn't you notice the extra payments going into your bank account??
I had to ring them several times to sort out an over payment of almost 1k for this very reason...we didn't want inland revenue asking us 6 months down the line for it back.
