Thats the same one i put a thread up about afew months ago, My grandad left it to my dad in his will, and one day will end up being mine as its kinda' like a family heirloom. Its now taxed and tested, if thats what they go for in " need of restoration" form, christ knows what this ones worth :thumb:

I know they are worth a bit, and I did think that the Escort was worth a pound or 2, but never would have though of £65k!

Dave.

Just realised its a V8 model, the V8 ones are mega mega rare, hence why its shot so high in price

My grandads is a 14.9, but i can see that one on ebay finishing at about £40K - £50k

£20k?

Better than money in the bank.

Same as the bikes we do, it's alot safer then investing, providing you pay the right money for them.

It worth it, purely to leave as is and drive!

Where else will you find a fairly tidy 78 year old car? It's frikin awesome:)

Younger though. :( 70 years, 2 months and 13 days it had been in there IIRC. Plus maybe a year or two to build, then a bit of mincing about through time.

Where did the wheels come from that they use to get the De Lorean on the tracks?
I may look a right n00b here, but I care not. Always wondered.

The only explanation is that they're the 50's rims minus hub caps, seeing as the tyres were removed to go in the buffer.

They look mental though? lol
