Mmm heatings gone and damp is accuring

My heating has completely gone and only blows freezing cold air, No matter HOW long engine has been running,

I am also getting alot of damp on my windows on the inside like water on the inside windows and my temp gauge on dashboard dont seem to work all that well,

I am thinking heater matrix or thermostat anyone have any ideas?? :confused:

maybe out of water ? or water leak?

Take your thermostat out and test it in boiling water, then disconnect your heater matrix and flush it out (do this anyway whether it cures the problem or not as they get blocked up over time)

Check for wet carpets. Sounds like you have a leak somewhere. Could well be a split matrix.

If my matrix has split how can i check this?

My mats are wet Pete, They are always wet :(

get the thermostat out & simply replace it with a new one...

you might just have to wait till the thaw & then get your whole cooling system thawed out & then flushed clean.

Did it have the correct amount of anti-freeze in it before the bad weather arrived?

Graeme yes it did, i also changed the radiator a while ago just before the cold weather,

are your dash controls working ie are the cables behind the dash connected???
