May be after one if price is low enough and is close enough to pick up. Bit of a strange request on a Nova forum but oh well :p

A nackered box will do, as long as the lever and selector rod are present

EDIT: 5 speed Sierra box

lol its a commonly used gearbox for a whole arrange of things.

bell housing available for a c20xe and that whole family.

was gonna use one in the chevette. but couldnt find one, everyone seems to be hanging onto them now a days.
and they are not as simple to fidn as you may think. they only came in certain sierras,

they are the later stronger sierra boxes.
and yeh they were only the early ones, but a type 9 is 5 speed, some sierra's were 4 speed so no good for the type 9 hunters, possibly good for you.

and what about like a carlton shifter or any RWD gearbox lever.

make your own from rose joints?
