Tough to call! The roof rack actually looks to have practical uses, rather than just carting around a beer keg, Coca-Cola ice cooler, beer keg and other pointless, needless, rusty tat found in any worth skip.

However, the stickers seem to have been put in with some care regarding their placement, not just the usual National Trust et cetera that are banged in the middle of the rear side windows.

"Cheers(!)" would say the passengers!

Rear arches are covered in seam sealer and arent overly clean, the drivers a pillar has a nice splodge of seam sealer covering some rot, there is some under the header tank, its not terminal as yet just in places that will require a lot of repair work to fix, seen as it only cost me £400 its not worth spending loads on the shell in all fairness, ill prob end up having a go at it though lol

The Chassis rails on Barney were shagged and really the only decent thing about it was the XE, so no big loss.

I do like the two door, not sure on the air intake and needs period 17s imo but quality of the work look excellent at shows, would be paranoid about using it due to how rare they are, we think nova doors are hard to come across I bet for them would be a challenge

It was when my mate first got it, however it fell on hard times after he lost his job and ran out of monies to maintain it, got paintstrippered over a garage bill and it ended up being sat for almost a year, i came within £150 if buying it to break for the engine in my old nova, then he ebayed it, she went down south and was tidied up and returned to standard, went back on the bay and did £1200, she is still insured but has been exported, so i would hazard a guess she is now in ireland, id love her back though:d

A-Framed it home yesterday, got a bunch to do for the MOT but it's mainly Brakes and Tyres.

Currently boosting to 23PSi and has been for a year, it's a surprisingly quick car.

Not familiar with the cavs tbh, but I assume we're talking about the tied in points basically sat in the back seats? I always thought it was for the rear suspension, most likely the front wishbone pickups, rear being a bit further back.

They would have used the GSi shells due to the IRS and supposed better rear handling. As for the rear diff mount, all GSi or IRS shells came with these. The diff mount was basically a void in the FWD cars and actually the same rear suspension set up as the likes of the Carltons and Senators, cheaper to Mass produce them with the diff mounting "Void".

Maybe I'm too used to looking at nova arches but it does look odd having more arch gap at the rear than the front, looks level on the sills though so I don't think that's a fight you can do any better at winning lol

The rear bumper sides are shorter on a hatch too, the back end does need to come down a little more but its nigh on level with a full tank and when youre driving so not too bad really, might have to see if whatshisname on here doing the custom springs will sort me some -80 rears out:thumb:
