Im after info and pics regarding how the Quaife unit works, I want one but not really within my budget so I'm considering making one but obviously need a rough idea of the internals of the shifter unit. Rep given for useful information :thumb:

Its a direct to box linkage, meaning it goes at at angle within the passenger foot well, through a new hole in the bulkhead and therefore misses out pivot linkage on the gear box mount.
This means the throw is reversed so the gearstick has a pivot between where you place your hand (input) and the output linkage. Instead of the pivot below both input and output as is the case on the standard nova/cav linkages.

Yeh im aware of having to run the rods through the bulkhead and all that side of things. I'm after the pivot points actually within the shifter if that makes sense...lol also how does it move over to get reverse etc. I could do with one cut open haha but I don't think thats going to happen anytime soon!!
