Ive just got some GSi sideskirts and i want to fit them without srewing screws into my sills and arches. How should i fit them, should i use double sided sticky foam pads or something else?

u would be best using a bonding agent such as Stikaflex or tigerseal, but for these to hold them on properly they will have to be held very tightly in place while the stuff sets (bout 24 hours) why dont you buy the fitting bits from vaux?? even from them they are cheap as chips, just remember that if you do drill in the car which isnt as bad as it sounds, make sure you cover hole or bare metal with rustproof or paint etc

hope that helped

get some clips from vaux, line them up then self tap them into the car an slide the front long part on not sure what you'll have to do for the rear clip though

the clips from vauxhall are pot rivetted to the car along the edges and also on the arch at the rear.

As long as you paint the drilled hole with summut like hamerite then give the pot rivit and clip a quick paint over with hamerite or even summut like grey stripe you will be fine.

pot rivit gun will set you back about ?15 and a pack of 20 rivets about ?1.50

clips from vaux are about 30p each - you'll need about 8 each side
