i quite like the m1 northbound.......any road that leads out, from the a12, m11 ,m4 west , etc etc is the best bitlol

mowgli
07-12-10, 09:31 AM
a13 isn't though, nothing on that road is much of an improvement....;)

Graeme

whenever i go to our nations capital, i am only really happy when i can see farmland on the way out....

its ok for a summer sunday visit, but i just don't like going there for work.. but then i do have to drive hgvs into the centre occasionally.

seems that anyone more than an hour away from the place hates it (bar marris but then the train from sarf end to landan takes about a month lol)

As mowgers said, try looking at anything on the A13 for inspiration as to how Iraq is nicer lol

While I had a discount rail pass, it was actually cheaper to go for a night out in London than a night out in similar pubs here lol Its about the same without the discount train pass lol.

You obviously havent been to the right pubs :p
Food is epic everywhere (except chinatown as imho its well overated compared to any other chinky in the uk)

I think London is great. A real giggle to drive through at times. I used to live and work in London, driving around the place fixing ACD's and then I worked in Camden.

The only gripe I have is that there are alot of people there who are just wanting to get to their destination so you can feel a little bit like a number, but even that can be funny.

Thats me, I don't mind doing the tourist thing, but when you're in a town centre or whatever for a purpose then go where you're going, don't dawdle around and get in the way

Hmm the spacebar seems to work on this one. lol

There are far crappier places in England than London. Yeah it's got some right dumps but has quite a bit going for it. Yeah it's got a bit of traffic but who needs to drive fast when on the road? It's not about driving fast it's about going 2 miles per hour so everybody sees you ;) (if you got a nice car that is lol)
