C'MON am I the only only PNG member that snowboards?!??!!?!
If I had snow I would try it
However ATM I would look like a skateboarder who has had his trucks nicked lol
I'm not holding out much hope for doing it down here, snow twice in 20 years
Pics look good tho
Same here, I'd give it a go given the chance.
You say thats Kat on her backside in the pic... but judging by the angle of your legs/board, aren't you on your ar$e too? lol
i'll try and go up at some point. not very good at snowboarding but i can ski quite well.
not ski'd for 3 or 4 yrs though, last time out i fell and broke my thumb, tore my ligaments and tendon and ended up in hospital for two days gettin pins put in haha could spin my thumb round in any direction, as if it was just hanging on! hurt my back, leg and face aswell.
Edd it's a good laugh, not to hard to learn either at a snowdome, there is an indoor slope at xscape breahead which is where I had my first lessons a while back, I don't do the dry slopes as they are poor IMO
think there are a few xscape places down south too,
Aye jack I'm on me bum but mine was a controled and deliberate fall lol
Grooge I'll probably try skiing next year once I'm better on a board, just to try the two out to see what I like better,
the snow is back on here ATM so I think I'll grab my board and find a fooking big hill now lol
We tried to with gaffer tape and the trucks removed from a Longboard... my mates now limping
I used to be pretty good, not done it for years now. Used to have my own board. Was a pnk Palmer one with Airwalk soft boots.
im waiting on a pair of nike zoom force boots coming in from america, i have a pair of DC ones atm but there quite stiff and dont like them too much, im looking at getting a Endeavour colour board quite soon, its mainly a freestyle board but it quite good for freeride/all mountain too, just the fact its got plenty of flex being a soft board it'll be easier to use in the small indoor runs awell and it has pretty colours lol
the first 3 pics are from the car park at the bottom of the slopes and the rest are from the drive down to Aviemore
