LMAO lol lol carbs are somewhat old skool now. Altho some people on Corsa C UK swear blind the airfilter induction pipe connects to a carb lol lol

Lol must just be bored really mike..
No contest really; carbs are just if you want a period look/vibe or cant budget ITB's.
Had a reminder just yesterday when i started mine up for first time in weeks although its not outside its still frozen in the lockup (no heating/gaps in building) and it started and ran no hassles.. much better than a carb would have done.

ITBs are great if you can afford them... there are plenty of budget small block builds running 40s producing very good results

It will be in between the Allegro and Yugo Haynes... lol
all vdub buggies i've seen have had downdrafts, as sidedrafts would clout the wheels...

Oh yes!!
+rep for the wit:thumb:
speed buggy would of had weber idfs, dhla dells or bad boy 48ida's:D
as for dcoe or itbs....if money no object then itbs, better mid range than the carbs and better for big big bhp xes. but 45dcoes are still good for most quick motors...but as said more for the old skool boys

Anyway Mike what's your opinion on the Vs choice?
itb's everytime for me. They look and sound better. Plus you can have more to do in the way of tunning and mapping the ecu.

Throttle bodies all the way. Altho I do actually prefer working with carbs myself but meh.
Carbs are good at what they do yeah, but now they just dont cut it anymore.

I'd like to see two similar spec engines but with carbs or bodies in a test tbh, I'd have bodies nowadays with me having the baby XE but if I was still running my 8 valve then 40's or bike carbs (as that's what I had) would be my choice.
Just the ease of gaining power with throttle bodies, an the noise is lovely, espcially from outside the car. There a couple of avenues Im looking into with regards to the engine for this POS Corsa, just a small matter of paying for it all :(
what about chris that had that blue xe on 45? He is on mig and dar's?
