nova filler neck info

does anyone know how the filler neck goes.think ive put mine on wrong.theres a white piece of plastic that goes on it.does it go before the neck or after.as when i put it infront.i could fit my petrol cap.pics would b great

Not seen white plastic, on both my mk2s there was a rubber ring that sits behind the arch and in front of the filler neck.

i had a white plastic spacer when i took mine off as put it in a bag wit a label on,cant remeber what way it went,its weird how its ended up in the bag
