if u go big amps u go V pully... no good for novas... why do u need a bigger one anyway?

I need it for to power my amps and keep the battery topped up with power when im playing fat bass lines.

can't you just slap a power cap in there? only about ?100 not sure what pharad (spelling) rating you'll need though. go to a good ice shop an ask

best battery is around 65amps

you can get a 80amp unit off a cav i think, more than enough

Which Cavalier? Will to LET one got straight on? Im gonna get a Yellow Top Optima and 2 Farad 1.5 caps for when I get my full install done once if got the money.

and how exactly is a cap gonna stop his battery from draining...

a cap is fitted to supply large bursts of electricity extremely fast so u have enough power to "hit the bass"

the battery still needs to supply the cap

so if the system is being drained without a cap adding one isnt gonna help anything - it will just even out the current flow from the battery and remove any large potentially damaging spikes

thats what i was thinking. I want a bigger 1 as well on me 1.4 but not got round to it what ya recon for that for bass to cuz the battery gauge dances with bass notes lol

i recon youve got a pi$$ poor battery :lol:
ive never had that problem with three installs!

has it on my first motor the headlights used to dim.

changed batt and it was fine.

and a chrome 15" sub in my boot in a normal shaped box until i made my proper install.

they are both BANGING

until i burts my box :cry:

i got 2 10" subs pushing sum where around 900 watts
and the battery is 2 months old mate
