well after a speak with a guy tonight i have came to a humble decision to swap the cav for a immaculate 205gti 1.9 in cherry red,
i know its not a vaux and not really mycup of tea but im sure its worth more in resale value plus im not benefitting from the cav sitting there,
will be sad to see it go but the 205 is a better car for sale value in summer:(

Get up! Drive the GTi (assuming the rear beam is fine) and you will be laughing even more than you should be now mate!

will put up pics of the pug when i receive them,i have a few jobs to do on the cav before it goes but its what hes looking for and there arent many decent gsi looking diesels around only 4 i know of,though kind of looking forward to getting this though dont think il keep it long im a ford vauxhall man

Who cares about fuel economy...the 205 will be smiles per mile. 1.9 aswell the best ones. I loved mine.

i know spud but if i keep it i will keep spending money on it and not focusing on my other stuff,the 205 is ready to drive and not tinker as its tastefully standard minus few goodies,
i need to finish the rs and finish the nova,once the nova cab is back done that wil be going along with the 205,
my plan is keep the audi and rs and build a hyperquad eg r1 raptor or the likes something quick as my wife is disabled and cant get on the back of the fireblade so if i build a hyper quad i can take her on it and it stil be plenty of a handful for me:)

no mods guarantee i need to focus on the scort matey, to be honest i can barely see me driving it a lot,reckon my mates will drive it more than me seems any classic hot hatch i get they always pinch my keyslol good job i like em:cool:
though may try px it in somewhere for a nice rs16i then i will be happy:)

I'd kick every panel in if it meant I could have an RS1600i!

I like your thinking mate. Plus they're far too French inside anyway! Even may mates freshly built, stripped/caged job with flocked dash is still offensive! lol

thats the first thing i though edd wheres it gone,he said theres nothing wrong with the 205 just has a young family and after a 5 door larger car,
i know its french and if anyone knows me properly hey know i hate french but i bebeive the 205 is worth more ££££££££ than the cavalier.
my mate swears by these and to be honest once collected i think i will just chuck him the keys to use,he looks after all my cars better than me and hopefully i can either sell it or px it into a nice rs1600i

my oldman has one of these with a mi16 engine in running a 1.6 gearbox
It's a track car had it for about 2 -3 years now just for trackdays and they handle well thats what there known for !!!!!!

Handle well in the dry. :)

I sold my 1.9 a few months back. Couldnt enjoy it as it kept breaking down.. Must have a bought a dog although it was a 1 owner from new half minter hmmm

lol loose the blinkers!!! A GTi would out handle any Nova IMO. Seriously, if its one the french can do its build a hot hatch. Drive one. You will feel different!

davidfox280585, looks like a tidy example you have there. Wheels need to be silver IMO. Mine was a G plater too.
