Well, not me a lad on another forum is asking about two Nova's whereabouts these days, one is the well know Pepe and other was owned by a lad that used to go by the name of FlUsHsImON, info on that one is as follows


Blue nova with Custard Cream rocker cover. Dont think he's going by FluSHsImOn anymore, think he has a normal username now, and actually writes correctly.

Flush is BroadGhost. He's still got the car and has made it even better.. He really needs a project thread!

Pepe, can only hope that it's sat in a garage some where...

Pepe was owned by Grom (circa 1998) and Flush is on here, like Benn said. He has a WIP but is hugely egotistical and refuses to post pictures! lol

Both are from RoyBacer - one of the first Nova Forums.

lol he might be, but he's wishes are his. Shame as its an awesome car. Which i have all the old pics from RB too. I remember back in the day seeing his awesome flywheel and thinking wow that must be mega money as it was billet and had holes and stuff.

Oh it is, Grom liked to do things cause he could... Like the hollow drive shafts and that. Very smart man.

Cage looks a mess, turrets are ok for what he was trying to do I guess. Rest of it looks very highly specced indeed.

Which often produce less power than butterfly TB's as the butterfly gives some lovely fuel mixing swirl before it even hits the head

Maybe that's why it has the 8injector set up?

Swirl is an air flow thing, and 8 injectors is a turbo'd thing, that costs money, why it would need extra injectors to take over when it deviates from the map that deals with ~atmospheric pressure I don't know unless it's another thing on the spec list :p


Martin (Bowyer) told me near enough exactly the same thing.

Geoffrey Goddard/one or two books here, but yeah, it's quite well known :p Venturi throttles will be interesting when they start filtering from graduates into motorsport and then down into public stuff :)

Bearing in mind the engine was build an age ago (how old are the pics btw?), DTH tbs were probably £££, so roller barrels were probably the affordable alternative...

Those pics bring back some memories! Well done for posting them!:thumb:

And lol at those finding fault in the build quality - if you are crazy enough for remote res coilovers and an engine spec/air brush combo like that - I am sure that the quality is not to be sniffed at!

Im guessing the orginal poster asking after these novas is just wondering if the owners had decided to sell or step into limelight a bit more..
But its this lack of that makes these more legendary/mythical lol
