40's will do ( I run 40 parallells on my X16XE) and larger would be too big I think.
Bogg Bros will do you a manifold. It'll be 150-200 squid though.

i want rods and hi compression pistons to but no luck finding them
Where the hell are you getting money to buy throttle bodies, hi comp pistons, steel rods and management? That's got to be at least £2000 worth of bits if the bodies are second hand lol

just talked to mr dixson and he say run tb's off a bike honda black bird he said. and he can get me rods and pistons
slim the sig down ffs.
Anyway... you can get a 1650 oberbore which will bump the compression ratio up. cant rememeber if you can get steel rods or not, but in general you can deseam them and then shot peen (good enough for 8K/150bhp) with ARP's.
you are going to have to make something pretty lairy to justify the TB's imho
back garden building FTW
I thought you weren't a sheep Danny? lol
Stu, Danny intends to make this a track car as he has a daily driver so I think he wants to go with a lairy set up.

dont you need to use low compression pistons to drop the compression when adding a turbo

who said turbo?
danny, what sort of power do you want?

sorry misread :tard: just got in from riding on my suzuki sv i think the cold weather frozen my brain
group A novas ran about 150bhp with flat top cosworth pistons on strandard inlets etc, as for pistons look at c16xe stuff, or x16xe rods and pistons, finding E16 stuff now is rally hard.

still got to look at management tho,

Guess what I've got? No not aids, some pistons and rods :d
Prov sold though lol
It's ironic that if you get all the hardware you need, the software to run it is the hardest part to get right lol
cool mate, looks like DD will keep you on the right track.

I'm looking at corsa vxr pistons for mine lol iirc you need corsa rods as nova ones don't fit the pistons

but wont they have cut outs for 4 valves not 2
Not on the ones I need, you may be different as I want to lower my compresion and you want to raise yours, but the E16 has a good CR anyway, I'd look at headwork, management, and TB's for the gain in power before worrying about the pistons

I will be bike throttle bodying a c16se in the next year,
Were making the manifold though

if it was me ide buy the parralel DCOE style throtte bodies; as said- in a 40mm size and that way any proper , decently made DCOE weber/dellorto manifold will suit.. a few pop up on ebay or can be bought new..
Rather than piss about with bogg bro's for circa £200 and end up with x4 metal bog roll holders; looking like your running bike carbs...
I really like the idea; and have seen/heard of one or two in the passed - nearly did this years ago myself, properly through Velos (at the time) but they even admitted 8v heads kinda bottle-neck the air flow so big gains tend not to happen.. 16v heads obivously dont suffer from this..
Looking at pretty much twin carb power, bhp-wise.. Torque-wise youll be up with ITB's as you can lengthen inlet tracts with long trumpets etc
Just search for twin carb/ weber/ dellorto inlet manifolds. I know tuning.com (if you call them) still do them new. But around £150+
what about SBD motorsport.

Never seen a bogg bros one - are they really that bad?
Mines a velos one but I can't remember who they used to make them.

Big Russ had about 160-165ish from a lairy ass mentalist Bowyer build..... I dont want to know how much that cost either lol

Well bit harsh but theyre not cast, so it just looks a bit school d.t project.. meant to put bog roll tubes lol
In fact ide ring bowyer and other rally chaps up first ; see what they may have lying around, you never know..
remember this from when i visited bowyer back in 2009..?

agreed, he obviously knows how to use those old tools......and very well too!
David.

Ohhhh yes.
Martin Bowyer can work wonders with 8 valve motors. A 1400 TU Peugeot motor with 204hp ATF for example :)

No,hes talking complete sh1te.:tard:
Theres a reason why theres a long waiting list.
Well I'd always heard good things and yes the waiting list but as I've no first hand experience (unless of course Velos got mine made there lol) I've no idea.
