Could i hire a mig welder from andy hire?? I'd only need it for say a weekend. Just wondered if anybody works there or has used them before really. And would i need a trade account??

Thanks

cheers for the link mate, i was looking for a small mig to be honest just to do bodywork etc. Ive already got an arc but its pointless for thin metal. Maybe i should just buy a mig from machine mart, going by those prices from andy hire i could have my own for the price of a few weekends hire:thumb:

For the price of hiring stuff you may aswell just buy one. Then you can use it as much as you like, not feel the need to rush the job because the mig has to be returned. Plus you can always sell it and get some money back if needed. I think owning and being able to use your own welder is part of being a Nova owner these days.

Buy one from machine mart mate.My 90am gas/gasless is more than up to the job for bodywork.
Ive welded up to 3mm with it with no problems at all
