get a haynes manual and it tells you exactly what to do to take the engine out. Keep the 1.2 head on and put the cam in from the 1.4.

That should send you from 55bhp to around 75bhp if you get a 4-2-1 exhaust manifold aswell.

take wheels and disconnect dirveshafts and all that cr@P

drop engine out bottom of car by droppin engine to the floor, then jack car up so u can slide it out from underneath, then vice versa

push engine under

lower car down as low as possible

jack engine up into place

bolt up

we found we cudnt quite jack enough, so i managed to lift the front end of the car enough to get an extra brick under (breeze block) once the car is poast a point its easy enough to lift the front end.....

if all else fails, you can slide it in through the biggest wheel arch if you need an extra inch or so, think dirvers side is easiest
