any one know if the vacum heater control valve would stop hot air being blown into the cabin?

The vaccum bit on one of pipes? Aircon car?

Shouldn't affect it.

have you changed the antifreeze recently or had a leak or anything?

3 way valve thing behind inlet alex

ive flushed it, checked pump n stat all fine etc

well when you flushed it did you bleed it up correctly?

fill it up but dont tip it in to fast.. then wen it upto the tank turn the car on with the heathers on full blast on hot with the cap from the expansiontank off.. then keep an eye on your water n top up as needs be then u shud feel your heaters go warm.. just leave it running till they go warm then shoud be bled through.. well this is how i do it anyway and never had any problems :)

yer because you need to get all the air out befor you let it pressure up :) some cars have bleed valves but on the corsa the expansion tank is the highest point so you can do it with the lid off :)

They should self bleed ive never had to bleed a vauxhall coolant system!

yer somtime they just self bleed but iv always done it that way and bleeds up alot faster etc :)

I usually do the cap off, get water circulating and then put the cap on, wait for the fan to kick in.

Haynes actually says to replace the cap after filling and let the engine run to bleed system.
