good afternoon lads...so i thought i had another electrical problem

so ill tell the story from the start

so i got my xe up and running last night..took it round the block a few times then into town...there was a knocking coming from the engine...dad said it could be the hydralic tapets...anyway went into town for a lap and the knocking got worse...like something was getting thrown about inside one of the cylinders...the car was running fine tho apart no chucking or nothing....just the knocking noise...(ps i will be putting this problem in technical-mechenical if you can help))


now we get to the electrical problem:mad:

so i started to u-turn to take the car home and everything cut.all of my power and the engine shut down....popped the bonnet and there was a pin hole in my water pipe which was squirting water all over my ignition coil.

water and electricity obviousily dont mix so i thought it had blew something as all the power had cut to the car


before even looking at the car started writing a thread on here in the technical(electric) threads..........

...... then it hit me...i hadnt tightened my battery...so before hitting "submit new thread" i went out to the car moved the battery terminal and guess what...i had power and the terminal was loose
