1.4 bad starting and no idle

as above, does carb need a rebuild or ingition fault? 1.4 bottom end and carb, 1.6 head 1.4 dizzy and loom.

have already checked dizzy cap and rotor arm they are ok, thinking about changing fuel filter just for the sake of it.

was it a square port head?? as some of the manifolds don't fit the round port head at all well

no round port head. i have been wandering weather this was the case. its lacking fuel tho i think
