Engine Transplant

I have a 1.2 which is really ragged and just doesn't seem nippy at all, it burns a bit of oil and i think it needs a rebuild. Is it worth rebuilding a 1.2 or looking for a 1.3SR thats been crashed but has a good engine. I mean they can't be that much more to insure or quicker can they?

get a scrapped 1.3
