yes its that time of year where i realise i've forgot to put enough anti-freeze in :(
EVERYTHING is frozen solid
and i mean EVERYTHING haha
whats the best way to heat this all up and see if there's any damage done?
i've already spent about an hour with a kettle topping up the water bottle and also tried a hairdryer :\
seen as its pretty darn cold i need some clever options guys and gals
help me out i need my nova back on the road :D

anti-freeze and checking it before winter ftw! lol
Seriously, wait for it to thaw naturally and inspect the damage.

Make sure it's completely thawed before you even think about firing it...

pour fuel all over the engine bay and engine, chuck in a match and watch the ice melt (and everything else for that matter)... just kidding :)

Hope no damage is done mate good luck un-freezing it.

i've had a space heater on it :(
TO NO EFFECT
its harder to thaw my nova than it is to thaw the polar ice caps!

drop all the pipes off, remove the water pump.. get some hot air in there & remove the ice from behind the water pump, re fit it & run the engine up for a while.. then it would start to thaw out... don't expect miracles, it could have done the head gasket or pushed a core plug out.

is it an XE? if so then expect the block to be cracked lol. A retard that lived with us at uni had this happen to his XE when he only put tap water in it.

i actually had anti-freeze in it, but clearly not enough :(
then went to put more in tonight and found out i was a bit late HAHA!
well i think this just goes to say it might be time to get a LET engine in it then :)

it mite not work but when my nova freezed today i put my car cover over it and tide it down then put my heater under it and it keeps all the hot air in. but try not to burn the sheet!
