looking at buying an Irish plate, and i'm amazed how cheap they are!
but i'm just wondering, are the fees stated on the site all i need to pay, or will i have to pay DVLA again to put it on my vehicle? :wtf: :confused:

Seller's asking price (Including cash handling fee) £ 35.88

My plate is from Northern Ireland originally, and cost me £200 with the transfer fee payed

Cheap way to cover the age of any vehicle.

thats what i want it for, to cover the age of my bike :) looks like the fees they show there include everything :) looking at 2 consecutive numbers (£40 each lol) for the bike and the landy :)

I know if we buy a reg from DVLA, we have to pay the £80 twice.
You can get round this if you know someone over here and have an address, and you'll get a reg for free!! (If you don't mind the letter/number combination)

There's two plates I "want", both are cheap and car-related, but tbh I cba to spend £350 or whatever they cost nowadays to get them

I put any old plate on my car, newer, older, whatever, long as it registers ok on the ANPR when I get petrol I don't care.

i nearly had my dads reg 'K55 MPD' on the vectra when he was selling the car, he only had that as my mums beemer has 'K5 MPD'
he once suggested i get 'K555 MPD' - my reply of 'but then people would think im lieing when i say im not related to you pair' didnt go down to well
