I need some con rod bolts for my X18xe1 running x16xe rods and they come in two sizes M8 (ARP PART NO 109-6002) or M9 (ARP PART NO 109-6003) looking at the ARP catalogue it seems the M8 is for the 8v and M9 for the 16v anyone any experience of this?

M9 is for the 16v and M8 for the 16v anyone any experience of this?

Is there an error in that statement?

have you ever been on sbd's website?
If not: www.sbdev.co.uk (http://www.sbdev.co.uk)
go to vauxhall instruction sheets - everything you need to know about fitting and setting the parts up is on there - favourite it.
Torque sequence and indeed 1mm you need to chamfer off the rod caps - i just got a machineist chap to do it on a decent pillar drill rather than me with a bosch..
Remember to not mix the caps up; like i did lol - they shatter uniquely but tbh it wasnt too difficult to match them back up - see my build thread circa feb 2009 for when i did it..
