If it was up to the wife, then it would be October 1st..
This is one that she doesn't get her own way with though..
Mowgli's probably the most accurate though (August month end)lol

2 years ago, deb & the girls got me a 'sexy christmas' advent calendar from BHS... 3 voluptuous gals in santa outfits.....on the 3rd, one had her tats oot.....by the 20th, it was in the recycling:(

That is actually incorrect it finishes at midnight on the 5th, trust me ive just had both my rents bawling it at me lol
6th is when you take the decos down......
Christmas starts today for me, as we just put the tree up :thumb: Usually it'd be December 1st but Dougie is away out to football on Wednesday so we did it today (we also erected the tree lol) of **** this is getting worse ROFL
Peppa Pig and Toy Story 3 advent calendars for us, courtesy of mother hen :)
Decorations will come down the weekend after new year here. Although that's D's b'day weekend so I plan to be fully pissed/hung over all weekend then lol

I have adamantly been told they should come down on the 5th so they are down/clear for the 6th, im not going to argue as my mum is very religious lol
so's my mum, and she always waited till the 12th day, as in the 5th of jan was over, and then took them down first thing on the 6th....... lets just agree not to let our mums meet, or there'll be a fight..

My nan has always been adament they come down first thing on the morning of the 6th too and the decs go up 12 days before christmas day.
I am a christmas fiend :d
I have decorated this weekend. Although no tree yet, might have to buy a new one. Usually its the 1st Dec for me, but I've got a lot on next week so sorted it this weekend, plus Hayley is working so its a good time.
I rule with advent calendars anyway:

Damnit, I was getting more and more hopeful that no one had said anything about this... But yeah, religious stuff aside people generally think christmas is coming when they see that advert... However, why it's on in fecking november I'll never know...

It starts for me when i can be arsed to get out of bed on the 25th, see the family for a meal and then it can fcuk off when i go to bed. Hate the bloody thing lol
PNG official bag of humbugs coming your way.
i love christmas, as in 25th december, but the 4 month run up is ridiculous
some of the odd traditions people add to the christmas thing drive me potty though.....
i quite like to spend it with my wife & kids and simply have a really relaxed day. nothing is a problem, everyone helps out & we have a right good laugh.. what more could you ask for in a christmas day???
what more could you ask for in a christmas day???
Beer and pizza... Thats all I wnat one xmas, but noooooooooooo we have to do the roast and all that toss
hmmmmmm...... what will the missus say about that????? i think you'd be the one on the table with your legs tied round your ears & stuffing up your fundament
i watched my father in law eat a christmas dinner of dry turkey, roast taters, yorkshire pudding & ketchup one year........thankfully he has been educated in food since then (he is also 5 years younger than me)
I'd dose turkey up with ketchup since its one of the dullest meats going... Give me Goose for christmas over turkey anyday!
