facking awesome, back end frame looks similar to simps design for his
looks too nice to be a rallyx motor.. more like a sprint/hillclimber.. the suspension & bodywork doesn't look strong enough
but it looks fantastic though

Yep - certainly plenty of fantastic fabrication on all different cars - giving me plenty of ideas :)
Makes all our C20XE conversions look rather basic !!!!
jesus that makes baxter look like a pussy lol
and it begs the question, if they go to that extreme, with cutting out the floor and makiing the entire inside. why dont they just drop a FG shell over the top....

I thought the same, apart from their suspension pickups and rear hoop etc are far better/tidier :( If only he didn't want a gearbox lol
Reason for not using an GFRP shell would be for the same reason simps won't go out with one for a long time, they're expensive and hard to produce compared to just buying a nova. You'd have to fork over silly cash to get that made properly.
ohhh i see.
money is always the problem lol
Money it'd cost for a GFRP shell, you could build half of simps chassis on I reckon... if not both ends.

Run it through Google Translate and you may get a bit more info from the WIPs:

Translated one of the previous pages and it sounds like that Nova is used for "auto slalom", something to do with weaving cones or something?

Good to see the chassis design is very similar to what the simpletons (:p) put together for mine.
I wondered what its like to drive?
