Hi mate,

The easyist way to find out is if you look under the O/S/R chassis leg you should be able to see the pump if its not there it'll be internal what engine code is it e16se or c16se.

If its external you can use any other external one mate the early calibras ran external style pumps iirc and some cavs but pretty much any.

most 1980's vauxhall efi cars.. basically anything from that era with a bosch efi system.

i once had a row with a bloke in a scrapyard because the 'gsi' he had was actually a facelifted mk1 1.2 merit. in the end he was gutted cos he'd bought it for top dollar..

basically bosch only did a couple of efi pumps back in the 80's/early 90's, so if it is off a 3.0 or a 1.6, it'll most likely be the same pump anyway.

The same pump and set-up is used on the GTE and the SRi.

fair enough, sounds promising, when you get to 15 posts, get some pics of it.. did you buy it locally??

if you are planning to use second hand pumps & can find them cheap enough, get a couple. also check the fuel pump relay (on the bulkhead in the engine bay) as they can go wrong too
