Tyre recommendations please

I normally use toyo proxes t1r's (pretty religiously)

But now I'm fitting out a set of 18's and dont like the expense lol does anybody have any suggestions of cheaper tyres that will perform as well?

yoko parada spec 2? good in the dry, erm.. careful in the wet lol

Out of stuff from the mid range I'd choose
Falken FK452s (NOT ZE 912s)
or
Kuhmo KU31 Ecstas

You do get what you pay for though...

^ either of those would be my choice. Just switched to the KU31s from a few years of using FK452s, both in 18s

ku31s had them on the last two cars and found them better than the t1 r's i used to buy in all conditions

As for being careful in the wet I don't rate the toyo's in the wet either :/

95% of the time I've found yer local tyre place is better overall for KU31's than for buying online and getting robbed for the fitting.... unless you know someone who will fit for free lol

I generally found the KU31's to be about £5-10 a corner more than the FK452s, so not a massive difference tbh
