Re doing the daughters Nova.

Only finished it some months ago, but did intend putting a 2ltr into my daughters Nova and doing yet another repaint for her, like i dont have enough of my own cars to finish off, Morris Minor rebuild Mini rebuild and my Mondeo project, as well as a pick up rebuild , i have to do the nova as promised, all she has to do is make up her mind on what colour she wants its, as the white and pink flake it has now is not as wow as we wanted because the flake only really shows in good sunlight.
Already have the engine 2ltr ecotech x20xev just gotta get a gearbox that will work with the cable clutch, "and ideas would be helpful" and then sort out the drive shafts, again sugestions would be most helpful, got 16" MoMo's upgrade from 15's.

Idea's about gear box I am looking at a diesel gearbox for £70 asd best drive shafts to use.

The cheapest way of doing the shafts is using GTE/GSi/TD 22 spline shafts with standard outer CVs and Mk2 Cav 1.6 inner CVs, these are more than strong enough for an Ecotec

idea for colour?? - new ford fiestas in that purple colour, imo it looks nice an yeah it also looks abit girly aswell

What colour is the car already? I'd stay with the oe colour for the sleeper look! As for the gearbox, F16/18/20 petrol boxes will be fine, why did you want to use a diesel box?

Diesel box was due to the bloke having one on the shelf, although he will supply whatever box i need, the Car is Arctic white with pink flake at the moment it was white prior but looked dirty even after a good clean, the colour she wants is the Vauxhall purple dont know the code for it.
I was going to do it puprle with rainbow flake or pink flake, but she does not want flake this time, the wheels are Momo arrows 16" upgraded from the 15" momo arrows, not sure if they will be painted yet depends on how the car looks with them on once done.
