Right any pointer that i need to consider when converting the lumps, are the gearboxes the same and were would I find the identification number, also The loom for the injection on the sri can that just cut of and discarded? it looks fairly simple, also how can I get my Oil preessure sender and battery level sensor on the dash board to work?

long as its an f13 box ye
hopefully it will have bosch injection, u can cut off ur sri loom or just leave iti n the bay like i did well taped up. you will need the engine temp/oil pressure/rev gauge wires connecting up. the rev guage u will need to run in a new wire directly to your dash.

wot is it then, thats wot I thought it was, it next to the oil pressure gauge, im not that bad with cars I do all my own servicing i put twin forties on my old escort by myself + they worked, thats it, just havent had experiance with taking apart engines yet, i might have a go at dismantling the old engine just to see. dicko i cant get that bottom pully off ive sprayed WD40 on it still wont budge, is it got to be turned clockwise or anti clockwise,

so you cant get the bolt undone then?
you need a long bar to start off with and the right size socket (unless its e-torx fitting)

lock the engine with something then turn anti clockwise

right ive got a breaker bar sumwere ill try that i have locked the engine and yes it is the right size socket, im not that bad
