i believe it would but why do you want to?

The box would fit the engine but the input shaft is different iirc f16/18/20 have the same but f28 is different so the splines for the clutch friction plate would be wrong and I'm not sure if anyone makes a friction plate in the right diameter for the Td flywheel but with the correct no. of splints for the f28 input shaft.

i think you use an x20xev or maybe a big block 8v fly with an f28 friction plate

i'd imagine it would be a fairly straight fit. the f28 was designed to fit where an f20 did. isn't the isuzu fitted with an f18? its only the clutch plate splines that would need checking

useful stuff on here..

flywheels ar not the same as gm engines, so you would need either a modified flywheel or friction plate :)

before you even think about the clutch you may want to take a look at the ratios ;)

so you put bigger profile tyres on it.......not much maths really.

he's probably doing it to get an lsd box & for a bit of bragging rights... and if it is lower geared, then higher profile tyres will give him a better top end. & low gears are the bane of diesel owners lives, its all spin.... now an auto box off a vectra might be a better bet, but i don't know a thing about them, but having driven a few diesel autos, i think they are brilliant
