This is what happens when someone who "Was a mechanic for 3 years" (apparently) works on his own car.

The image and videos were taken at my works for the purpose of threads like this and to show what happens when someone that hasnt got a clue, plays garage monkey lol

yes extremely wobley. But i take it he was an idiot for not realising it was there, not the job he did on it, because you said this is what happen when a mechanic of three years works on his car. but clearly he never gave it a shot. or maybe he did, gaps in the story we needs more information for the mocking of this poor bloke lol

Yup i needed rear brakes for a long time, still havent done them. Took about 2 months just to buy them. That was, erm, 2 months ago lol

Got 2 new ones in the glove box :)

So true...Too busy looking after other peoples cars

Basicly, the guy fitted a clutch and came in saying he has a knock on the front end, "I think its just ball joint, nothing serious" .

I think he done the hub nut up by hand (thats how it come off) so he wouldnt crush the bearing :tard:

I also forgot to mention, there were also a few loose bolts underneath the engine bay and one driveshaft was just hanging in the diff, its a good job I took the time to check!! bearing in mind he admitted to being a former mechanic AFTER we showed him the damage...Parts cleaner more like, as you will hear us say in the end of one video lol

On a serious note, its lucky he didnt kill him self, or worse, someone else

my wheel bearings got that bad after i put the wrong shafts in lol new one ruined to worst condition than that within a week

haha im a tech at Jaguar and my combo van is in the workshop every saturday morning alongside the £50k+ motors having the alternator belt lubbed as its fecked and is possibly the origional 1 from 1996!! and its only about £3 for a new belt but meh dont fix it till it breaks! :thumb:

my audi strut top bearings are also in my glove box lol did one...other one i couldnt get some bolts off

i know what you all mean im a mechanic and i also work on the dont fixit till it falls off theory on my on cars. once ya been working on cars all day the last thing you wanna be doing is fixing your own car and not gettin paid for doing it, :P
