meeeee i have just put them on face gay and tagd spudly in them as he wonted evidence. i got back in the house just before it started and my mam hid the car key's for the night. :-( was going to go and play
We have had a light dusting which tbh im shocked at as we never get snow this early, will be the only fall we get though im sure lol

Well the snowsports are open on the cairngorms lol cle said he's only 10 mins from there, but the cairngorms have had snow since October and folk were still able to ski there till may this year lol

Not when you have a car as low as mine lol I tried it once last year getting home from work and my car was honestly useless, i then had to park it up all month. Hopefully we won't get anywhere near as much as last year.

The height of mine wasn't a huge problem last year, even though it was like a snow plough. It was the locked diff, low down torque, small diameter rims and wide tyres. Just made it step to the kerbside all the time or spin up in the fresh snow. lol

There's a big cloud that "looks" like a snow cloud just enveloped the sky here, but I wouldn't have said it was cold enough.

We actually looked this up last year as it sparked an argument in the car between friends, apparently it doesn't ever get "too cold to snow" it just gets progressively harder, so north/south poles at -30 get snow because there's perfect conditions for it, where here when it gets to near double figures negative it's not as likely as if its 0 to -2ish
Its been snowing like fcuk where Ive been :S A55 was down to one lane then closed :( then re opened, then closed again! Has been sleeting, snowing & then nice blue skys an then raining.... North wales is going through some epic weather right off the sea.

Feel for you Lee, I spent this week in a static in some mega crazy cold weather about 100ft from the beach in North Wales, winds coming straight of the sea smashing into the challettes an stuff :(

I was an idiot about 3 weeks ago, could of had a M plate 90 300tdi fully kitted up with snorkle etc for £1500. I turned it down at work and they cleared 5 big ones at the auction :( :( :( Sadly couldn't justify it to my self for something that would sit for 80% of the time in the car park at work

Got home from Southampton last night ..... no snow, Teeside Airport @ 1 1/2" of snow, frozen to the car (been stood there since last Sunday.:wall:
Got home, another inch or so overnight, will get pics today;)
About 3 inches fell here last night..
Was hammering down about ten minutes ago but now the sun is out!
Weird..
The kids obviously love it but for me I think the novelty will wear off pretty quickly..
At least I don't have melting snow dripping down my neck off other peoples cars anymore..

yep have some here go 4 miles in either direction and nothing come into our village (town )village! \( TOWN ) anyway come into our little bit and we have had about 3" and its turned into ice now, so going up our little slope out of my estate will be fun watching all those who don't have a clue of how to drive up hill in snow and ice.

The barge had 4 winter propellers fitted this morning :).
28 here and last night I was dragged by the V8 Dolly and V8 Range Rover belonging to my mates on my 'sledge' which is an HGV mud guard.
40 MPH FTW. lol Goggles required for higher speeds.
We had a right hairy moment when the RR decided it wanted to slide down a big ass icey bank in the middle of nowhere. If not for the walkie talkies we would have two very damaged cars now. Or my mate and I would have took out a dry stone wall or two! "Keep going! Keep going! Keep going! Keep going! We're sliding down and can't stop!" lol
It was -7 out in the sticks and we have about a foot of snow all over everything here. Seicento FTW! lol

Thing is, most of the main roads are clear here now and were this morning..
Now I understand some teachers may live a distance away, but most live close..
Most of the kids at both my kid's schools walk to school or are dropped off in cars..

My parents were both head teachers so I'm part teacher lol
When I was a lad I walked to school in snowy weather to find the school was closed but because my mother was my headteacher I still got school work to do :cry:

Been snowing here on an off [conwy, north wales] but **** me its cold, last night it was minus 14, since I've been here the ******* washer pump & washer pipes have been frozen on both the vans we've bought up here, an flooded a challette because the waste pipes are frozen an some dick left the shower on for 8 hours whilst we were out!! Toilets frozen solid too :(

I feel really sorry for folk up in Scotland, they are being hammered, i really couldn't imagine being snowed into my own house( as cosy as it sounds)

i dont mind the snow. imo a lot of people over react to it. i dont like when it gets really cold though especially if its windy aswell.
and i dont live far enough north to get snowed in i dont think.

I'm so glad i'm not in Newcastle any more...last winter was a right ball ache to say the least, we couldn't get out of the street for days. In the end we had to dig the cars out.
Where we are now in West Cumbria the snow is not bad, but its cold, very cold. I think we are due some more snow tonight.

I'm afraid to say spudly it wasn't the snow, the problem occured 18 years ago when Vauxhall decided to put more doors and a bum on it :(

About an inch or two here, made the 30 odd mile drive into work fun :d Except for the guy overtaking me on a snow covered road at about 60mph. Pretty sure that was the car I saw stuck on a hill later on actually. And the number of people driving along with a car totally covered in snow - including lights - and just a windscreen wiper-swept clear area on the front screen... Idiots.
Oh and Hayley got stuck lol

Yesterday it was white with snow and snow falling from the sky - today it's back to normal with rain falling from the sky
