ok, put a post up in the mechanical sectionbut not much luck, ive taken this part of the combo van, and im not sure what its called, all i know is its broken, the pierburg part number is pa6.6-gf35, but i cant find any info on what it is or dose, and i also need to know is it a main dealer part only or dose anyone know of a motor factors part number to get another, it connects to the exhaust valve thing and looks like this, cheers people:cool: ..

the van is a 1.7cdi vauxhall combo van on a 51 plate, and yes, its crap:d

the first one looks like a boost solenoid and the seceond a map sensor

marris the second one is the boost pressure sensor, as i've already posted. the first is a vacuum solenoid. Just Take it down to you local vauxhall dealers, and ask for a new one. simples. Just re-fit the boost sensor.
