its the 1.7dti engine, on a 51 plate, first code is p0370 pump position sensor ,and the second is p0400 egr valve. problem is after having a look on a few forums, the first one says crank sensor on most posts, sounds to simple to me:confused: , and an egr valve , dose anyone on here use the vauxhall owners network, or vx online where these answers where, and would you trust or had these problems with your van?? codes where read with a snap-on code reader, thank you

Pump position sounds fair enough for a crank sensor?

crank codes are usually engine speed signal probs. if its a crank does it take ages to fire up. there could be a fault with the pump itself if it comes up with an error for the pump speed. p0400 will probs be a faulty egr valve. :)

crank sensor is on the rear side of engine just above the drivers inner joint. egr valve is bellow the ecu on top of the engine. hope it helps

that aint the egr valve. it could be the solenoid controling it though and thats the reason why youve got the dtc stored. follow the vaccum pipes to see where they lead.

You can just do the "pedal test" instead of using a code reader lol lol
