hi fellas,
right iv just tryed putting my seats in my nova but once there slid in from the back and bolted down at the front the seat is loose at the back! is there something missing from the back or have i fitted them wrong.

have you re-fitted the retaining clip at the back? also how loose are they because the seats never feel super-tight when properly in place

plastic cover that goes on the bracket things that seat hooks into

mine were a little 'loose' after i snapped the black plastic runner rail off by mistake, is that still intact?

yeh they need the plastic wear rails in :thumb:

ye the plastic bits are on top of the brackets.
im not refitting them as such, i broght the car back in june with no interior, done all the welding on it, re sprayed it at the weekend, and collected an interior yesterday (430 mile round trip lol)
i havnt put a retaining clip on the back??

its a little P clip, only one for each seat, fits in the metal rail

mmmm dont think i have any of those, can i get some from somewhere? also need some rear belts (iv got the recievers for the back) and i need the recievers for the front seats. cheers

get the clips from a scrapyard, I'd imagine that Corsa/Astra ones will be the same... just another note, these clips only stop the seat from sliding back out the rails, if its still loose (as in can be shaken quite violently then sumat else is the problem)

well when you rock the seat side to side you can visually see the bottom of the seat move in the runners/ bracket.

I'm pretty sure thats normal to be honest, the design isnt the best by a long way
