Iv just bought a nova let and trying to fix some small problems, the eml didn't work as it was not wired. wired it up and its on constant, tried to do the paperclip test but cant find the plug!! if its not fitted how do i fit one?

iirc either the brown/white or brown/yellow wire you just earth it and it flashes the codes, mines on a switch so if eml comes on i just flick switch and read codes :thumb:

got it now, had to run a wire up to the clocks for the light :thumb:

still no further forward in fixing the high idle speed, there was no faults stored :(

My money is on an air leak or the icv

icv seized, tried cleaning and lubing it but still the same.
should i be able to open it with a screwdriver?
