Aluminium heater blower blanking plates

i have 3 aluminium blankin plates for the heater blower. I need to alter the holes slightly at work tomorrow, slightly out of line by a few mm

are these to blank the vents off or the whole unit? Also mk1 or 2 or are they the same?

its to blank off the hole where the motor bolts inside the scuttle panel under the bonnet, im not sure if the mk2 is the same as the mk1...but i can make some more at work if the holes need to be different
