Hi there, does any one have any experience with nitrous and diesels....

Been thinking about fitting it.. I saw a Pic of a astra TDS in TV a bit back with it fitted... was in some kind of TD tuning guide!

Can any one spread a bit of light on the topic?

Cheers Dan

The crack with diesels is "propane". (or LPG for the automotive). A jet set up to blow into the turbo impeller, set at the right angle will help keep the turbo spinning too, and thus less lag.

Nitrous would be bad. If it was good, tractor pullers would use it. They are the ultimate expression of "blown diesel".

the nitroused MK3 cav derv at pod a good few years back didnt do too badly for a crappy old skool mechanically controlled (loose term) engine
