do i need a oil cooler on my xe engine or do i just block the holes up
I wouldnt bother puting one on unless your going to race it imo :thumb:

Scrappy. Almost any vauxhall will fit I think. Remove them carefully with mole grips

Has this part got the allenkey fitment inside like the sandwitch plate thread to tighten it up or is it same as a 1.2 one.

hi mate its the allenkey fitment type the oil filter screws straight on the remaining thread easy,aynt sure wat the 1.2 1 luks like kidda

thats the one, remove ooil filter, allen key removes the whole sandwich plate, once thats off just simply screw the new one into place and fit filter:thumb:

Yea ive removed the long one thats holds the sandwitch and fitted a 1.2 one in its place but ive had to get it as tight as i can with molegrips which isnt ideal so i wanted to now if the 2l8v variant had the allenkey fitment like the original one so its a tighter fit if that makes sence lol.
