I put some of my art work in the hobbies thread, so I thought I'd show my drawings I've done of Novas.

Anyone want me to do theirs? I've not done any in a while, and I'm looking to pick up my crayons again soon.

Awesome! conditions....hmm....just a decent shot of your car....and perhaps a free drink or two at a PNG meet.....or maybe a couple of reps ;) (strongbow's my preference!)

Modified cars are a relatively new thing for me to draw (apart from that red 100), so a fresh challenge is always good!


not a 3 door nova in sight :) good lad

Might change soon....haven't drawn my current car yet! It's a 3-door....:P

seen better on my mates fridge door her 3year old did

I admit not all my drawings were great but there was no need to be quite so nasty!

Okay, perhaps the 205 and 340....more so the 340 because it is seen as an 'unloved' car (ie appears in Richard Porter's 'Crap Cars' book :thumb: )

Wow....what a thing to to return from work to....3, possibly 4 requests!

I'll try to make sure I do all of your cars, don't rush me though, because I'm sure you wont want a crap drawing!

I get a couple of days off next week, so may begin to work my way through the list :)

Regardless of some obviously jealous naysayers like the above :P

Here are two of the requests up - these are low-quality photographs and aren't the best indication of the finished products, plus I found my new crayons don't blend very well which is a bit of a pain. All depends on what the respective recipients think of, and of course I expect a huge slagging from draper:

Another one crossed off the list - Pete's red MkII 3-door. Interesting angle, was different to try a close-up, definitely more of a challenge.

Again, this is a low-quality photo, a little distorted too, but jsut to get the idea.

You will be, I get a couple of more afternoons off this week, so may fit you in!

I've only done one silver/grey car before so it should be something different :)

So, do those who've already been 'done', what do you guys think? looks like Pete's happy with his :thumb:
