Got this today , seen it online yesterday but as I was working today, my dad and brother picked it up on my behalf. Haven't seen it in daylight yet, but from what I can see in the rainy dark the arches / doors blah blah are rust free. Front bumper is a bit rough and splitter is missing and has a silly back box.
Overall I'm pretty pleased ... This is the pic from the ad will update on Tuesday or Wednesday after a clean if anyone has any interest?

Cheers Compton, let in one would be very nice indeed.
Raspberry that looks mint! Don't know about aircon I'll see tomorrow. Would I be right in thinking mine should have those washers for the lights being a phase 1? Finishes the front nicely. Are these as difficult as novas have become to get gm parts for? Splitter/grill/ badges etc?
Bubba - Getting my c20xe for the Gsi nova out of a gte nova. No astras will be harmed in my possession !lol. Yip they be cav wheels. Not fussed on them myself when not on a cav. They'll be replaced as soon as I can for either original wheels or my speedlines. I don't intend on messing too much with it. If a new standard back box can be bought reasonably I'll do that otherwise it'll be a full stainless of some sort and new shocks and springs eventually.

They were a option from what ive been told just like the aircon! But yes i agree they do set it off! the headlamp washers are not available anymore so are rare to find!:) the splitter you can still get from vauxhall and grille.:thumb:
thinking about buying my brothers gsi kitted sri off him if i can get rid of a couple cars. it sounds really good, looks the part and has been really reliable, would get it at a good price to but it would mean selling the nova which is the only thing holding me back. these photos arent helping!

not bothered about selling the nova, would get another in the summer.
how much did you pay for yours if you dont mind me asking?? been looking at gsi's now and they seem to do ok prices even on cars with high milage.
my brothers sri is only on 67k ish and i'd be getting it for a bit less than a grand, between £800/£900 probably. full gsi kit, 17s, eibach springs, gas shocks, snap off wheel, stereo(sub amp etc) strut braces, 4 branch, ss system. only bad point is rear arches are crusty. what you think?? or should i spend the extra and get another 8 valves??

my astra gsi
i have had 2 now, i put a let in the 1st one aswell, but that engine is now in the nova, i broke the 1st 1 as was fairly tatty. i have changed a few bits on my new 1 already, i have put standard lights back on it which had off my old 1, and it never had a splitter which i luckly had off my old 1, and just got a 6 speed box, so will fit that and i still got my atb diff in garage so will fit that also. may change the wheels to cav turbo wheels, and then will just want a bit more power as its only about 240bhp at the mo, gonna go for the 300bhp mark

yea i thought that, the nova feels small inside and the astra feels huge, but they dont look much differant in size in the pic for some reason. lol
