gutted my nova gsi project got nicked:(

hello peeps im gutted my nova gsi got nicked last saterday from my workshop in reading got the car bk today in a real sorry state a mate of mine found it in a1 breakers on wednesday every1 is tellin me im mad but im gonna build her bk to as mint as i can get her i will try n upload a pic of wot i did look like n a pic of wot they done to her but dose any1 no were i can get a gsi bumper (front) n passenger side skirt? thanks guys

Finally another member in reading :p I've basically got 2 cars worth of spares kicking about depending what you need (got more windows than I know what to do with) and A1 is my closest breakers so you must be nearby, let me know what you need and I'll have a look when im back home, no gsi bumper unfortunately!

Hope you get it back to mint condition mate my Jamaican yellow SR got stolen and absolutely trashed about two years ago so few words of encouragement it can be done if you put the time and effort into it if not make imrovements in the process. Its taken me the full two years to do it but it's been well worth it in the end so stick in there pal!

Gutted for you mate as parts are getting hard to find and commanding stupid sums of money, good look finding or replacing what was taken but it shouldn't be a massive task, if you've got deep pockets. Silk Violets will always get a good response on here good look putting it back together and its a shame them mirrors weren't taken though imo

thanks for puttin the pics up scorge01 hopefully it will be back on the road by the summer!! n as for the mirrors lol they were on the car when i got it lol they will be comin off when it gets a full re-spray its a hard paint to mate

im happy just havein the car back mate wont to get it back to showroom now just with a few little mods to up the power abit iv only d0ne 15k in the car since i got it in september 07 and i put a new bottum end in the car a week after i got it cause the rings were shoot so the bottum end should cope fine got a few bits to start with lol so any ideas would be very helpfull

thanks again scorge for puttin up the pics!! and thanks wudgey the sr is in bits again now tho lol iv got my work cut-out for these to and im tryin to buy a mates chevette project aswell lol almost forgot found new gsi petrol tank £97+vat and 2 front wings £155+vat lol the mophs are flyin out lol

yea good good mate you cant beat the look off a standard sr apart from a little lower and some nice wheels!!

Front bumper now on it's way should be here saterday! Gotta drop the tank out to weld the hole want to do that tomo but gotta finnish stripin the tigra still not sure if I should keep the block and gearbox for spears lol think that just cause I want to get the nova done lol
