It's hard to pic favourites IMO. I haven't included any American muscle either which I am also partial to. lol

Outlandish on the whole I grant you, but the Skyline isn't pie in the sky money and for as long as I can remember I have loved the RS200 and F40. There would be no Zonda's etc in my lottery winners garage, but those two would be there without question.

lol...Mini vans were never rallied even though the longer wheelbase makes the handling much more predictable and I'm sure regs don't allow "commercial vehicles". My mate has a Clubman estate and finished 4th overall in the HRCR this year.

S1 Turbos were pretty unsuccessful in rallying as Ford decided to make the Mk3 wrong-wheel drive, slightly more successful at Touring Car racing...theres a German S1 been restored to its 1985 spec with 260bhp (which was unheard of back then) and lots of trick Ford Motorsport parts. I want :d

It was impossible to choose a rally car from the 80s!! There's way too many to pick from lol

Nearly all sporty cars over that era were homologation models though!! Back when nearly every manufacturer gave huge backing in at least one motorsport discipline.
