length of bike carb manifolds

last post about bike carb manifolds now as iv made one, iv left the tubes long so i can cut them back to what i need. do they need to be a specific length?

any one got a rough measurement?

longer they are the more top end you have hence why motorbikes have them and shorter the more tourqe so your prefrence some v dubbers have 1 small 1 big 1 small 1 big to even it out
