XE running weird

i was driving along perfectly normally today then decided to put my foot down a bit as the speed limit changed to 70
but when i did the engine just went plain weird, car jerked a bit, exhaust popped a bit, HUGE bang/flame, then shot off like normal
WHAT THE HELL?!
any ideas people as i'm pretty sure that isn't normal!

sounds like a misfire, is it running ok now??
maybe it didnt get enough fuel in time when you floored the pedal causing it to misfire for a second

It's running the same this morning haha
My mates dad said its probably just over fuelling
But how can I sort that

I found with my old one it seemed to overfuel anyways, drive it sensibly round town for a week or so and it would start to choke up and run poo, take it out and give it death in every gear down the local derestricted dual carriageway and it was sweet as a nut afterwards, it never like being driven slowly so it needed a thrash every now and then lol

Remove plugs an check/clean them, see if it helps.

My ht lead is actually cracked so I'm gonna get a new one today or tomorrow and hope that might help a bit

Aye got stopped for that too, part of the reason i didnt repair it and went back to a 1.2 lol
